On Campus Dining
Saint Mary's Dining Services has a meal program designed to meet your individual needs. We know you're busy with classes, sports, clubs and service activities, and we make sure that you can find a nourishing and enjoyable meal or snack when you need it. Up-To-Date hours of operations can be found HERE.
Saint Mary's College contracts with the Good Eating Company to provide food service in Oliver Hall, The Coffee Shop, and for many of the student socials. The College offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the week, and brunch and dinner on weekends. The Late Night Dining Program offered nightly gives students a break from studying.
All students living on campus, including the Townhouses, will have a meal plan included with their housing costs. The cost of a 7DAY or 5DAY meal plan is already bundled into the room/board costs for students living in first-year residence halls, as well as all of the suite-style residence halls (excluding Becket/More). Townhouse residents and off-campus students are welcome to increase their meal plans at any time by contacting Campus Housing.
Key Meal Plan Dates for Spring 2024
Spring Break (Friday, March 29, 2024 – Sunday, April 7, 2024)
*Meal Plans are not active during Spring Break*
- Last meal served in Oliver Hall will be lunch on Thursday, March 28th, 2024
- Coffee Shop will be open 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- All other dining locations will be closed (Oliver Hall & The 1928 Pub)
- Meal plans will reactivate for dinner on Sunday, April 7, 2024
Spring Semester Finals Week (Monday, May 20, 2024 – Friday, May 24, 2024)
- Late Night Breakfast in Oliver Hall on Monday, May 20, 2024, at 8:45 PM (free for all students)
- Last meal served in Oliver Hall for the spring semester will be lunch on Friday, May 24, 2024

Current Meal Plan Options
Most students pick the 7DAY meal plan!
5 Day Meal Plan
5-Day Meal Plan with $100 Board Points* per term: This Meal Plan is available to all resident patrons and offers unlimited access to Oliver hall Monday through Friday during hours of operation. Participants with this Meal Plan receive three (3) guest passes and one (1) faculty guest per term.
**Remaining Board points from Fall roll over to Spring term, but do not roll over to next academic year.
Board Points/Flex Dollars
In addition to the meal plans listed above, all students can utilize Board Points and Flex Dollars to pay for a guest at Oliver, purchase items at Coffee Shop, GrubHub, etc.
Students can add flex dollars via http://get.cbord.com/stmarys-ca/full/prelogin.php and receive a discount on meals in Oliver Hall when they utilize flex dollars. Parents can also access the cbord website and add money on their student's behalf!
Board points are the "flex" dollars that come with a meal plan and do not roll over year to year.
75 Block
Residents living in the Townhouse Apartments on campus will have the 75 Block meal plan, where they will have 75 swipes into Oliver Hall per semester. Townhouse residents can increase their meal plans from this base included meal plan to either the 175 Block meal plan, or the 5 Day / 7 Day meal plan for an additional cost that's not included in base room/board costs for townhouses.
The 75 Block meal plan for Townhouse residents gives students the opportunity to prepare most of their meals, while still allowing the convenience of having a quick, easy meal on campus
Off campus residents can purchase this meal plan as well by contacting Campus Housing.
175 Block
Residents living in Becket Hall and More Hall will have the 175 Block meal plan, where students have 175 swipes into Oliver Hall each semester. This meal plan is included in the room/board costs for Becket/More residents, and Townhouse Residents can increase their meal plan from their included 75 Block meal plan to the 175 Block meal plan for an additional cost.
Off campus residents can purchase this meal plan as well by contacting Campus Housing.
